2026 Summer Classes
Create your own handmade teapot in this 5-day or 4-day clay workshop in Knoxville.
Limited to just 8 students per session, this small-group experience is open to 5th graders through adults.
Join us for a unique summer pottery experience where students will design and build a functional teapot from clay while learning the fundamentals of ceramic hand building, form, and surface design. This workshop is designed for beginners and returning clay students who want to deepen their skills in a creative and encouraging studio environment.
Over the course of five class sessions, participants will learn how to shape, assemble, and decorate their own teapot while gaining a better understanding of both the artistic and functional sides of ceramics. Because this is a small group workshop, each student receives personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on support throughout the process.
This class is ideal for students searching for pottery classes in Knoxville, summer art workshops, clay classes for kids and adults, or hands-on creative experiences in a real studio setting. Adults are welcome and encouraged to join, making this a great fit for individuals, friends, parent-and-child pairs, or anyone who has always wanted to try teapot making in clay.
By the end of the workshop, each participant will have created a one-of-a-kind handmade teapot and will take part in a special tea party celebration to enjoy and showcase their finished work.

Knoxville Summer Art Camp: Painting, Drawing, 3D & Clay Art
Give your child a creative and engaging summer experience at Knoxville Art Studio. This hands-on art camp is designed for ages 7–14 and introduces students to a wide range of artistic techniques in a fun, supportive environment.
Each week, campers will explore painting, drawing, 3D design, and clay art while building confidence, creativity, and foundational art skills. Projects are designed to be age-appropriate and exciting, allowing students to express themselves while learning new techniques.
Our small group setting ensures each child receives individual attention and guidance from experienced instructors. Whether your child is new to art or already loves creating, this camp provides the perfect balance of structure and creative freedom.
All materials are included, so students can focus on creating and having fun.
